TAC.social

TAC.social is a Romanian organization working at the intersection of veterinary medicine, animal welfare, and social responsibility. Formerly known as Transylvania Animal Care, they needed a clearer and more flexible identity for a mission that had grown beyond rescue and care.

We created a visual system built around a compact name, direct typography, and a vivid color palette. The identity avoids the expected animal welfare clichés, giving TAC.social a recognizable voice that feels practical, credible, and human.

From Transylvania Animal Care to TAC.social: a shorter name for a broader mission. TAC.social introduced the concept of social veterinary medicine in Romania, bringing together medical care, advocacy, education, and community work under one clear identity. The new visual system keeps the organization’s history, while giving it a more flexible and recognizable voice.

Linda Pata Rât is a long-term field program in one of the most difficult communities around Cluj-Napoca. Building trust there took time, patience, and constant presence. At first, many people were hesitant. Today, the TAC.social name is recognized immediately, and many residents know the team members personally. The identity became part of that trust: a clear visual sign for care, continuity, and serious work. Photography: Lara Bucur / TAC.social

Bazar de bine started as a series of charity events organized by TAC.social, turning donated objects into support for their programs. Over time, it grew into a physical charity shop in Cluj-Napoca. Its identity brings a warmer, more playful layer to the TAC.social universe, while keeping the same sense of clarity and purpose. Photography: Ioan Pan / TAC.social
